Life, however, had different plans. After meeting Craig and quickly falling in love with him and his two daughters, Kaylee and Maggie, Christine found herself building a different kind of future—one centered around family, entrepreneurship, and creating something meaningful together.

Her first career in International Operations and Global Sourcing gave her the business experience, problem-solving skills, and strategic mindset needed to help build and manage a growing company. In July 2014, Christine and Craig launched Hazelwood Floors, and what started as a small family business has grown into one of the most respected hardwood flooring companies in Northeast Ohio.

Together, they have built Hazelwood into an industry leader, earning recognition as a 40 Under 40 recipient and being featured multiple times in national hardwood flooring publications. While awards are appreciated, Christine believes the real accomplishment is the reputation the team has built through honesty, craftsmanship, and treating every customer's home with care and respect.

When she's not helping lead the day-to-day operations of Hazelwood, Christine also works as a REALTOR®, combining her love of homes, design, and helping families find the perfect place to create memories. And, like many busy moms, a large part of her "free time" is spent serving as the full-time chauffeur and biggest fan of their youngest daughter, Harper.

At the heart of it all, Christine is passionate about building things that last—whether that's beautiful hardwood floors, successful businesses, or a life centered around family.

If there's one thing Nic enjoys almost as much as beautiful hardwood floors, it's spending a day at Cedar Point. He loves roller coasters, a little adventure, and making memories with the people he loves most.

Above all, Nic is a devoted dad who treasures time with his daughter. Whether they're out having fun or just enjoying the everyday moments together, family always comes first.

At Hazelwood, Nic brings that same dedication to his work. He takes pride in every project, paying close attention to the details that turn a good floor into a great one. His strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality help ensure every customer is happy with the finished product.

When he's not on the job, you'll likely find him with his family, planning the next adventure, or counting down the days until his next trip to Cedar Point.

Originally from El Salvador, Jorge brings an incredible level of skill, patience, and pride to every installation he touches. As Hazelwood's installation master, he has a true craftsman's eye, understanding that every board, every seam, and every detail matters. Whether it's a simple floor replacement or an intricate custom layout, Jorge approaches each project with precision and care.

While his talent speaks for itself, it's his personality that truly sets him apart. Around the shop, he's known as the "gentle giant"—a quiet, humble man with one of the biggest hearts you'll ever meet. He leads by example, works tirelessly, and treats both his teammates and customers with kindness and respect.

Jorge believes in living a life of peace, family, and hard work. He takes pride in creating beautiful spaces where other families can make memories for years to come, and that passion shows in every floor he installs.
